We’ve been a fan of Alex Knight’s stunning photography for some time now. His haunting shots of Tokyo streets – inspired by cyberpunk, anime + SciFi – have earned him a legion of fans + a big following on Instagram.
The Australian photographer + UX designer has lived in Tokyo for the past few years. When he’s not busy working, he loves to wander the city at night, hunting for that next killer cyberpunk shot.

YAKATABUNE
"What is not to love about taking a 2-hour cruise in Tokyo Bay, while eating okonomiyaki, monjayaki + enjoying free flowing drinks?! The view of the Rainbow Bridge is spectacular, too. And in the warmer months, sometimes a guy comes by in his little boat + sells you ice cream through the windows!"
MORIMOTO XEX
"I am a big fan of occasionally treating ourselves to a fancy dinner, + this is one of the more amazing experiences I have had. 7 courses, cooked to perfection in front of you, + then enjoying dessert + a nightcap in their upstairs speakeasy-style bar."

TOKYO FLEAMARKET
"I love to hit flea markets on the weekends, searching for cool retro toys, old gadgets + especially vintage cameras + lenses. Ohi Racecourse is my favourite, with 100s of stalls + it's open most of the year."
