Swiss-Mexican photographer + creative Edi Inderbitzin has lived in a ton of varied places. - His career in advertising kicked off in Hamburg, Germany, before taking him to Miami, Florida + then to Boulder, Colorado. He later took an around-the-world backpacking trip to re-energize + to work on his photography skills, before landing in Los Angeles, a city he now calls home.
In addition to the high-profile campaigns, clients + many awards in his career, Edi still finds time for his own creative projects, like the amazing ‘Every Waking Hour’ project. – The project involved Edi taking a photo every waking hour for 365 days. The aim? To show that those imperfect, raw + real moments in between the ‘Instagrammable’ snapshots can be equally as beautiful.
Edi is also Co-Founder + Creative Director of ‘Viva con Agua California’, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all people worldwide have access to clean drinking water.
We were pretty sure Edi would have some great recommendations for places to check out in LA. Here are some of his favourites…

"Hinano Café is one of the best dive bars in Venice + has the best burger on the Westside. Hands down. Ask to add Swiss AND cheddar to it. You'll thank me later ;)"
@hinanovenice
GRAND CENTRAL MARKET
"Grand Central Market in Downtown LA is a lot of fun, has great food + from there you can walk around the area + go to the Broad, Disney Music Hall or take a walk to the arts district + its breweries."
@grandcentralmarketla
STUNT ROAD
"Stunt Road, starting on the Westside, is a really fun "race-track" if you like to drive a little bit faster and love tight turns."
